Music at Berwick Parish Church

Berwick Parish Church has a proud musical tradition, with a healthy, active choir and a strong history of hosting musical recitals. If you love music and would like to develop your talents with the help of expert tuition, why not come and join us?

New choir members are always welcome.  We have two services on a Sunday, usually rehearsing at 9.20am for the 10.00am Eucharist and 4.00pm for a 6.00pm Evensong (with a bonus break for tea, a bite to eat and a blether at 5.30pm).  There are also occasional midweek Eucharists for important festivals, such as Ash Wednesday, Ascension Day etc.  You can do as much or as little as you are able, can be sure of a warm welcome and go away feeling uplifted, having tackled different pieces each week.  For further information, contact:

Watch this space for information about organ recitals in 2024.
Have a listen to our Coronation Commemoration Service, at which we welcomed singers from all over the Borders.
In January 2023 we were pleased to welcome the Tweed River Jazz Band and in previous years we have had the pleasure of hosting musicians from the Paxton Music Festival.
