Music at Berwick Parish Church

Organist at Berwick Parish Church

Berwick Parish Church has a proud musical tradition, with a healthy, active choir and a strong history of hosting musical recitals. If you love music and would like to develop your talents, why not come and join us?

New choir members are always welcome.  All that is required is a love of music and a willingness to commit to a regular Friday evening practice (6.30 – 8.00) and a Sunday morning service (rehearsal at 9.30, with a service at 10.00 finishing c 11.00).  Please contact our organist and choir master, Robert Gower for more information.

If you have any queries or comments about the music in church, please email Robert at

Organ Scholar

We are delighted to welcome Calum as our first organ scholar at Berwick Parish Church and are extremely grateful to the Ecclesiastical Music Trust for funding this new position.

Calum recently recorded a video of himself playing Handel’s Pastoral Symphony. We hope you enjoy it.

In July we had the pleasure of welcoming musicians from the Paxton Music Festival to Berwick Parish Church.
