Our summer organ recital series begins on Wednesday 31st May at 7.00pm with a recital given by Dr John Kitchen, Edinburgh City Organist and Director of Music of Old St. Paul’s Church in Edinburgh. He is known for his extensive portfolio of recordings of organ music, including recitals on the organs of the Usher Hall, Reid Concert Hall and the McEwan Hall and is an internationally acknowledged expert on early keyboard instruments. He has been a senior lecturer at both St. Andrews and Edinburgh Universities and for thirty years he was the conductor of Edinburgh University Singers
